The Elsie Initiative Fund and the Secretariat firmly acknowledge that without the ongoing generous donor financial and in-kind support, including contributions such as France’s JPO secondment, the Fund and its ambitious programme could not exist.
Mobilising resources from UN Member States and therefore broadening the Fund’s resource base is a key component of the Fund’s strategic requirements and its longevity. Effective resource mobilisation and strong partnerships enable the Fund to deliver on its long-term goal of accelerating the pace of change towards the increased meaningful participation of uniformed women in UN peace operations.
The Fund also welcomes contributions from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and foundations. Potential donors who are interested in making a donation are invited to contact the Secretariat via our Contact Page.
* France provides in-kind support through the secondment of a Junior Professional Officer (JPO) to the Elsie Initiative Fund Secretariat, beginning 13 October 2025.
