The Women’s Military Peace Operations Course (WMPOC) prepares women military officers for deployment in UN peace operations as staff officers, military observers, or military liaison officers. Led by UN Women in partnership with Department of Peace Operations (DPO); Integrated Training Service (ITS) and Force Generation Service (FGS) and UN Member States, this three-week training enhances leadership, operational readiness, and gender-responsive peacekeeping.
WMPOC builds on the UN’s commitment to gender parity, equipping participants with core peacekeeping skills, specialized training, and a strong professional network.
